Who is Walker-Stanley? We get asked this, a lot. The company is named after the founder, Tricia Akins’ late parents. A simple way to honor honest, hardworking, big-hearted parents who somehow managed to raise three carefully planned – plus one slightly unexpected – blessings during the tumultuous 50s and 60s. Hence her dad’s Mad Men inspired clothing!

During her career, Tricia managed and implemented a wide array of marketing projects including advertising campaigns, corporate communications, crisis communications, public relations, marketing communications, corporate meetings and events, executive presentation support, promotions, internet marketing, video/multimedia production and website development.
